For fallen comrades
                  that had met
Mine enemy without fear.

Until my thoughts reflect
On fallen comrades
                  Sacrifice
                        and genuine respect

            who had fought
For peace
            which yet we share

Then I lay me down to sleep
Assured of peaceful rest
